March 1st is just around the corner, and that means spring is, too! Maybe you've got the itch to do something different with your hair, so we're making a list of all the spring 2026 hair trends.
Haircuts:
The Modern Shag: This spring's trendy shag does away with the harsh edges and features floaty edges for a romantic but still rock-and-roll feel. Face-framing pieces and curtain bangs help update the look. It's a low-maintenance look with flattering, blended layers and fringe.
Shoulder Length: Not sure if you want to go short? Can't decide if you want to grow your hair longer? Then a shoulder length cut may be for you. This cut works well for any hair texture; aim for length just grazing the collarbone to mid-chest. Make sure to add movement with some internal shaping and a blunt but soft perimeter so that your hair swings when you walk and the cut looks intentional.
Waterfall Hair: The look here is long hair that ripples down your back in waves, just like a waterfall. A blunt cut with a clean center part is key (and no layers). Style it with a crimping waver.
Sculpted bob: This cut is best for fine, straight, or wavy textures. Ask for something that's soft and moveable and not too blunt at the ends. Those with curls can still get the look by making sure their bob is cut in an appropriate shape for curls and releases weight.
Bangs:
Airy, Curly Fringe: Think Thelma and Louise--bangs that have plenty of airy and bounce in them, perfect for a relaxed look.
Bowl Bangs: Full, blunt bangs that look like they're inspired by--yes--a bowl cut, but modern.
Micro-Bangs: Think Audrey Hepburn's short bangs. Ask for bangs that hit mid-forehead for a light, fairy-like feel.
Curtain Bangs: Curtain bangs should be cut to fit your face. If you want a more romantic feel, cut some pieces at eye level and add some tousled texture. For a glam look a la Sabrina Carpenter, add some longer, deeper swoops.
Wispy Bangs: Feathery, wispy bangs are light and airy but with a modern, edgy twist, best with fine to medium hair (but curly hair can still achieve the look).
Hair Colors:
Hamptons Blonde: A creamy, buttery blonde with rich, honey undertones. It's a blonde that feels soft and lived-in without being icy--ask your stylist for a warm blonde with golden undertones.
Dimensional Cocoa: A sleek, stylish cocoa that shifts color when the hair moves. Ask for a rich brunette with cocoa or espresso undertones and a gloss for an extra-polished look.
Strawberry Beige: A muted, earthy copper that's a soft gold mixed with rose. It should feel lived-in and natural, but make sure to get the color balance right between the gold and copper tones.
Desert Caramel: A bright blonde color with a natural, rooty beige that's a low-maintenance color. The color shade you choose should stick a little closer to your natural color (lifting by one or two levels) and finish with some caramel tones and a gloss.
